Not a lot of people truly know that CEAT was a brand that initially started in 1924 in Turin, Italy. Back then, it was a company called Cavi Elettrici e Affini Torino and was established by Virginio Bruni Tedeschi. And then, of course, the brand made its way into India in 1958 as CEAT Tyres of India. After that, the RPG Group took it over in 1982, and it was renamed CEAT in 1990.
